Midwestern Vacation

At the beginning of April Deb, Katelyn, and Kira went to the midwest for a little vacation. The first few days were spent with Grandpa and Grandma Magee in Illinois. While we were with them we went to the Mississippi Riverboat Museum, caught up with one of Deb's high school friends Dawn and her son Brandon meeting for (Deb's favorite) BLT pizza at Happy Joe's Pizza, and rocked out to KISS in concert on Grandpa's big screen TV. While at the ice harbor we also toured the William M. Black, a paddlewheel boat from back in the old days and learned about what it was like for the people that worked and lived on the steamboat. Grandpa and Grandma Magee have two dogs, Blue and Lucy, that the kids (especially Kira) were crazy about. Katelyn also spent a little time driving Grandpa's ATV...stay off of the sidewalks!!!
