A Moment Together

So today I have to pick the girls up from school and take them to the airport to go to Kansas to spend Christmas with their dad's family. The girls know that I hate it when they leave, so they try to humor me and my desire to "be together" before they go. So last night after all of the rush of getting laundry done and packing their bags, we settled in on the couch and read "The Night Before Christmas" together. We read that book together at some point almost every Christmastime, so it is really special (at least to me). Anyway, so Kira starts reading the book, the three of us snuggled up on the couch (OK...so Katelyn was playing her DS lite while we read, but when they are teenagers you will take snuggling however you can get it) Partway through the book, Katelyn says, "So who's the jerk with Santa?" I looked at her, puzzled. So she starts to recite the book..."turned his head with a JERK". *sigh* What do you say to that???
