Katelyn's Left Femoral Epiphys.....(something or other)

Katelyn is pretty used to everything being a blog photo opp with me...some days she does not love it. Here she is in pre-op, hiding from the camera.



She got to inhale cotton candy flavored anesthesia gas to fall asleep in the operating room. When I went to the recovery room to see her after her surgery, she said, "If I didn't know they had just done surgery on my leg, I would think it was broken." Little tears in her eyes. Tough kid.



After recovery room, she went to the same day surgery area to hang out until she proved she could keep her pain meds down without hurling. While there she took a little nap. Immediately after I took this picture, her eyes opened, she gave me a dirty look, and said, "You better not put that on the blog." Shhhh!!! Don't tell!
