Going Green

September 1 was the registration deadline for fall soccer. All summer long both of the girls have been planning to play fall soccer. The orthopedic surgeon's office gave Katelyn the green light to play (actual play doesn't start until September 12). So I was getting ready to go register them...Kira informs me that it will make our schedule to hectic (which is true) and that she doesn't want to play. I was surprised. I asked her why she didn't want to play. She said that she had too many other things to do (that sounds familiar). I asked her what she needed to do. She informed me that she needed to save the Earth. Pretty big job for an 11 year old. She has changed her blog to a "Save the Earth" sort of blog. You can find it at www.ket98.blogspot.com. She has even asked for a video camera for Christmas so that she and her friend can do a webshow about being green! I am impressed.
