(nee Owen), 85, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Born in Leonia she had lived in Paramus for 65 years before moving to St. Charles, IL. Prior to retiring she had been a food server at Paramus High School and was a customer service representative at Some’s Uniforms. She was a former parishioner of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Paramus.

Beloved wife of the late David Harold Fagersten, Sr.
Devoted mother of Arline and her husband Gary Magee of East Dubuque, IL, a son David and his wife Claribel of St. Charles, IL, and Gary and his wife Katherine of Cedar Falls, IA. Loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Arlene and her husband Gary Lichtenberger and Lorraine and her husband Robert Burnham.

Muriel was predeceased by her parents George D. Owens Sr. and Katherine Hattie Haeberle, her four brothers Harry, George, Robert, and Milton, and her sister Dorothy.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 02, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, S-113 Farview Avenue, Paramus.
Interment George Washington Memorial Park.
Family will receive friends Monday, March 01, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Paramus Fire Company #2, 238 Spring Valley Road, Paramus, NJ 07652.
