Thankful

Well...I am too lazy to upload November's pictures right now...I will do that later this week...but I just feel like I need to acknowledge how very blessed I am. Even though this year has been difficult in a lot of ways, this Thanksgiving weekend I looked around me at our six amazing kids and extended family and thought...wow...I am so lucky. I felt especially grateful for the kids this Thanksgiving...so I thought I would reflect on what I appreciate about them the most:

Colton - hard-working and disciplined. I watch him juggle his schoolwork, choir, drama, and sports and am so amazed at how he does all of it and still has good grades.

Bryson - sensitive and intense. Bryce and I have had many good talks over the years and I always really appreciate how he thinks about how other people feel. I love his intense excitement over things he loves...like his drumming and his longboard.

Katelyn - determined and positive. Even when things are difficult, Katelyn is a great example of persisting despite discouragement. Katelyn is one that always reminds me when I am sad that things will get better.

CheyAnn - happy and loving. Chey's smile always makes me feel so good. She is always giving hugs and kisses and telling people that she loves them.

Kira - intelligent and creative. Little Miss 4.0 is a perfectionist at school. She aspires to be the best. She also has a creative side that plays with Littlest Pet Shop and plays spy games.

Maya - sweet and pure. Having this sweet baby come to us from Heaven has been such a blessing to our home. We love to see her smile and watch her learn new things. We are so grateful she has joined our family.

So grateful for each one of my kids : )
