Maya Turns One! (...and we gotta get away!)

Maya's first birthday was September 16th.  The day of her birthday was pretty mellow...David was working and the three girls and I hung out at home...

but September 17th-18th we went down to Cedar City to celebrate Maya's birthday with Colton, Bryson, and CheyAnn.

Chey had her hand over the candle, trying to block the smoke from the candle so that it wouldn't set off the hotel's sprinkler system...

I tried to let Maya dig into her cake, but she didn't get too excited about it.

Colton and Chey had birthdays a few weeks ago, so they each got a l'il somethin'...

and of course Maya got stuff...

Maya kept climbing into the bottom basket of her stroller...

We spent a little time at the park (we did family pictures there...that will be in the next post)...

On the evening of September 17th, David took Colton and Katelyn to see Bryson's band perform at a club.  His performance went 'til 11 at night and was an hour away from Cedar City, so Kira, Chey, Maya, and I stayed at the hotel and relaxed.  We had a great weekend!
