Maya's Marvelous Adventures

Maya loves to watch "Steve" on Blue's Clues.  At the end of the show she always says, "Bye, Steve!"

Maya just started sleeping in the big girl bed a couple of nights ago.  Before that it was pretty much a hangout for the stuffed animals.  These pics are from a couple of months ago.

It took the better part of the winter, but we finally got some decent snow.  Kira and Maya went out to play.  Maya loved the snow...

I got this toy at Kid 2 Kid (a consignment store) for 8 bucks.  Once we got new batteries in it she found it very entertaining!

Maya finally moved up to the big girl carseat...now she is facing forward and riding in style : )  Love the little drink holder!

The doc I work for sometimes passes along things her kids have outgrown.  Last week she gave us this cute little beach chair.  When Maya saw it she climbed right up in it and said "Tigger".

She turned 18 months old this week.  She is a very strong-willed little girl (I blame that on Daddy).  She is learning to communicate, tries to sing along with songs in her movies, and loves to dance.  She sleeps through the night most of the time now, which is heavenly.  She won't stay in her pack n play anymore, so as I mentioned before we have moved her to the big girl bed.  Only thing is we haven't quite figured out how to get her to go to sleep by herself now that she has the "option" of getting out of bed.  Her potty chair is on order...potty training comes next!  Stay tuned...
