Random Maya Pics---Spring 2012

Time to eat...

Fresh out of the tub...

Playing in the Parmesan...

Looking less than pleased...

This is the "I'm not getting my way" look.  She has perfected it.

Sammy's Wedding

On Valentine's Day, 2013, our niece, Sammy Needles married Garrett Kundis in the American Fork LDS Temple.

Sammy and Garrett Kundis, sealed for time and all eternity...

Dave's brother, Tim, carrying Maya...

Sammy getting some love from her little cousins...

Congratulations, Sammy and Garrett!

Kira's Quartet from the Christmas Concert

At the Christmas concert, Kira got to perform in a little quartet.  The camera cut out just before the end of the song, so it's in two pieces.  Boo.

Great job, Kira!

Kira's Orchestra Christmas Concert

Like every December, Kira's orchestra at Joel P. Jensen Middle School held a Christmas Concert.  It is so nice to go to her concerts now...I'll admit they were a bit painful to listen to when she fist started out with violin several years ago.  Just sayin'...

Our Belated Christmas With the Rest of the Kids

A couple of days after Christmas when Katelyn and Kira were back from their dad's in Texas and Colton, Bryson, and Chey were up to visit, we had the rest of our Christmas.  We love having everyone together.  Here's Colton with his Shakespeare book...

Bryson with his Big Bang Theory T-shirt...

Kira, Bryson, Maya, Me, CheyAnn, and Colton...

Chey in her monkey hat (Kira got a matching one)...

Bryson and his new drum heads...

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Christmas Day 2012

OK...so in my continuing quest to get caught up on this blog...we have gotten to Christmas 2012 (I am only 6 months behind now...not bad!!!).  For Christmas all we had was our little Maya-boo.  It was a quiet day, but nice.

Like any 2 year old, Maya enjoyed opening the presents...

We got her this little interactive game...it's kind of like a toddler tablet.  She loved it!

Apparently I put the camera on the wrong setting when I tried to get this shot of Maya and Daddy opening a present.  Bummer :(

Daddy made these homemade tamales...made in a muffin tin.  (Thank you, Pinterest.)  They were yummy!

I am pretty sure in the afternoon we went over to Grandma and Granddad Needles' house, but quite frankly I can't remember what I did yesterday, let alone six months ago!  All the more reason to get this blog caught up so that I can stay current and remember some details!!! :)

Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving weekend Bryce and Chey came up for a few days.  Colton went to his girlfriend's dad's house in California for the holiday weekend...it was weird having him gone.  As time goes by and the kids move on and get their own lives, I know I'll have to get used to them all not being together, but it is hard.  When everyone else is together it is so fun, but the One that is missing is still missed...

Thanksgiving dinner would not be complete without Grandma Needles' rolls.  Yum!

The cousins had fun hanging out together...here are Josh, Kate, Chey, Kira, Scotty, Tav, and I think that is the back of Megan's  head.  I am pretty sure that is Alyssa napping over on the couch. :)

Bryce playing on the computer and listening to his tunes...

The cousins playing some game...can't remember what.  Scotty, I think you are a little to big for the rocking horse!! lol

Chey and Maya having some sister time...

We didn't get time to put the tree up while Bryce and Chey were here, but once they were gone, we got it out.  Maya had fun "helping" us put it together...

Putting up the tree...

The rush to get ready for Christmas had begun!

Colton's Photo Shoot for the 2012 Christmas Card

Since Colton went to his girlfriend's family's house for Thanksgiving 2012, I couldn't take his pictures for the Christmas card.  Fortunately, his girlfriend, Kaitlyn, was kind enough to take them for me.  I think they turned out pretty great!

Thanks, Kaitlyn!

CheyAnn's Photo Shoot for the 2012 Christmas Card

We shot Chey's pictures while she was up here for Thanksgiving.  We did them in the big ol' tree that is in front of our house.

I think that she looks more like her mom every year.  CheyAnn loves art and is into archery these days...guess that came from The Hunger Games : )

Bryson's Photo Shoot

Over Thanksgiving 2012 break we did Bryson and CheyAnn's photo shoots for the Christmas card.  Well...Bryson's we didn't get around to til the day we left to take them back to Cedar City.  I let Bryson choose his own background and...well...here they are...

There is no mind that thinks quite like Bryson's.  Love that kid.

If you can't read his sign, it says, "I'm not saying it was aliens, but it was definitely aliens!"
