Boo at the Zoo

Last week I won four tickets on the radio to go to "Boo at the Zoo" at the Hogle Zoo here in Salt Lake. Katelyn is now apparently too mature to trick or treat, so she didn't want to go. So Kira and I went with her friends, Jinsey and Anna and we had a great time! Kira dressed up as Hekete, a character from "The Alchemyst", a book her class read.







While we trick or treated around the zoo, we also go to see some fun animals, like some spooky bats...



some giraffes...





a tiger that looked like he wanted to eat us for lunch...



a macaw that wouldn't talk back to us until we started to walk away...



and an elephant...





We had a fun time...boy, our feet hurt afterwards,too...it was a lot of walking!
