Halloween

On Halloween I went to the parade at Kira's school...

and then I got to help out with the party in her class. We did a mummy autopsy (they had to reach in the "coffin" through slits in the top and guess what body parts they were feeling). The mummy's body was made of all sorts of squishy things like boiled tomatoes, peeled grapes, boiled noodles, etc.

We also played a ghost beanbag game...

and did toilet paper mummies...Kira's team won. OK...so maybe she had a bit of an unfair advantage since we've played that at a couple of our other parties (she said they chose Maddie for their mummy because she was littlest and easiest to cover). I won't tell if you don't!

This motley looking crew is Kira's team, which is made up of her good buddies Ashley, Maddie, and Jinsey.

Katelyn didn't go trick or treating with us, so Kira and I went with my friend, Wendy(the one in the bean bag toss picture), and her girls, Jinsey and Anna. It was a beautiful night...we trick or treated for a couple of hours. I think Kira is set for candy for a while (although I am sure Katelyn will steal some!). Hope you all had a fun Halloween!

Looks like a fun class party. I am all partied out. 2 school parties, a scout party, and a party with Scott and his friends did me in!
