Our Valentine's Date

Well, last night Dave and I went ahead with our Valentine's Day outing (a day early...have to work around life's schedules, you know). We had planned to put off our Valentine's date until Monday, so it was a pleasant surprise when he decided to come home early last night so that we could go out. We went to dinner at Iggy's Sports Grill (his pick) then to a movie "He's Just Not That Into You" (my pick). I don't think he was really jazzed about my movie choice, but I thought the movie was good (not for kids, though) and by the end of it even he admitted it was pretty good for a chick flick. In between dinner and the movie we had about 45 minutes, so we went and looked around TJ Maxx for a bit. It was really nice to just have some time to ourselves. We don't get that very often, so that makes me relish it even more. We have been together since August 2003...those of you that know us well know we have been through plenty of life's ups and downs...but nights like last night make all of the hard stuff worth it. I love you, honey!
