Fablehaven 4...Secrets of the Dragon Sanctuary

On Tuesday night we went to the book launch party for Fablehaven 4. The girls both really like that series and the author lives right here in Utah so we have had a few opportunities to see him. The party was lots of fun. The University of Utah ballet team "fairies" danced...



There were several performers at the party. Brandon Mull (the author) used to be in a stand-up comedy group, DC Comedy. DC Comedy performed at the party. They did several different renditions of Jack & Jill (yes, the nursery rhyme). They did it Shakespearean style, Edgar Allen Poe style, and yes...even Twilight style. I got a video clip of the Twilight version, but my camera battery died part way through. (I am mostly putting this on the blog for Jenny Kay and Jenny Lynn...the Twilight freaks.) You will get the idea, anyway...




I haven't taken any "dressed up" pictures lately, so before church this past Sunday, I thought I would. At first the girls were being a bit silly... but then they gave me nice smiles...
