Catching Up

Things have been busy around here(what's new?)...time to catch up. First of all, in the pay-it-forward blog game a couple of months ago, my sis-in-law, Jenny Kay, was making something for me. I got her gift a couple of weeks ago, but didn't get around to uploading them til now. Here is a pic of the cute "spring" blocks that she sent to me. Thanks, Jenny Kay! Now I get to make something for my other sis-in-law, Jenny Lynne.:) And I still have something coming to me from Salinda! Love it. In my last post, I mentioned Dave spent some time down in Cedar City for a few of the kids events. Here are some pictures and video from Bryson's concert with the drum solo from May 7.

Dave was running late to Colton's solo in the variety show at the school and I guess he forgot the camera, so unfortunately no video of that...I was bummed. I have never heard him sing and was looking forward to it. Dave said he did great. Guess next time he is up here I am going to have to have Colton sing to me in person :)
Two nights ago Kira had a violin concert. This concert is one that they do annually. Orchestras from about ten grade schools all perform together.

Aaron Ashton (a famous fiddler) and a guy from Ryan Shoop and the Rubber Band performed with them a bit.

Here is a little song that they did:

What talented nieces and nephews I have. It is so cool to be able to see them perform.
Ethan has a soccer game and Kaitlynd a piano recital tomorrow, I will have to post. You've inspired me.

You are welcome for the blocks! Looks like you have been pretty busy lately. I know all about that :(
