Crushed

In addition to the stresses of Katelyn being in the hospital this week, our family was so saddened to find out that Dave's sister, Casey, passed away quite unexpectedly yesterday. Much too young to die. Casey was so gifted musically and so adored by all of her nieces and nephews. She was a die-hard BYU fan...guess that is in the Needles' blood. I ache when I think of the hole that is now in our family because of losing her, but I am trying to find solace in the teachings of eternal families that have been a part of my life for so long. My husband is struggling so much with the loss of his sister...I wish that I could take away his pain. What a tragic, senseless loss. We will miss you, Casey.
