Sick...again

Monday I drove down to Cedar City to pick up Colton, Bryson, and Chey. When I was on my way back, Katelyn called me and told me the pain in her back (which had not totally resolved yet from her pneumonia) was getting worse and spreading to her chest. That evening I took her to the urgent care and her chest x-ray looked worse than it did a couple of weeks ago when she was diagnosed with pneumonia. They had me bring her to Primary Children's Hospital and she was admitted Monday night. She was supposed to get a chest tube placed to drain the fluid around her lungs (pleural effusion) on Tuesday, but due to some issues that has been delayed til today. She is hanging in there through all of the tests and needlesticks, but I have been a bit of a basket case...mostly due to an issue with the surgeon which I have already dealt with through administration. The nurses have been wonderful and I so appreciate how well taken care of Katelyn is. She is in the room just off the nurse's station so she gets plenty of attention. Anyway, she is probably going to be here for a week or so. Please keep her in your prayers.
