Those of you that know this next cute little face know...Zoie is my baby. I adore her...she is the best dog ever. Unfortunately, being a lhasa apso, her hair gets long. Long hair gets tangled. We are not as vigilant about brushing her fur as we ought to be, so if it gets tangled, it is time for a haircut. Zoie is NOT a fan of getting a haircut. It must be done in stages...after she gets her shower (Thank you, Kira) she finds a spot to lay down. I clip some hair. She gets up and moves away from me. I go sit by her and clip some more hair. She gets up and moves away from me again. You see where this is going. So this past weekend we worked on it for a couple of HOURS. Still have to finish her tummy and legs...will post the "after" picture this weekend after I am done. Wish I had fifty bucks I didn't need so I could take her to get groomed!!!
Here is the "before" picture...
Doesn't she look thrilled?
The night after Kira got home we went to a carnival at the church. They had hot dogs, games for the kids, popcorn, and...my favorite...cotton candy. I don't wanna say anything, but I think I had like FIVE things of cotton candy. Don't tell. (They even let me spin one of my own, which I have always wanted to do!)
They did face painting at the carnival, too. Kira was so intrigued by it that when we came home she got out her watercolors and painted my face. Sorry, ya'll. No pictures of that!
