Trick or Treat

We were excited to go trick-or-treating last night. The weather was perfect. I really enjoyed walking around with friends and smelling all of the leaves that had fallen from the trees.

First, we got ready at the Deadend Cemetery (our house)...



Pumpkins were on the porch waiting to be lit...





Katelyn dressed up as a clown (which she chose because her sister is afraid of them) and Kira dressed up as Luna Lovegood (from Harry Potter).









I dressed up as a Utah Jazz (basketball team) fan. I admit that I got dressed in the morning and it was chilly, so I put on my Jazz sweatshirt...then I decided to be a Jazz fan for trick-or-treat.



Katelyn went trick-or-treating with her friend, Abby, so first we took her to Abby's house. Kate asked me if she should take some toilet paper with her (to TP houses). I was shocked that my child would think of such a thing. I never did that when I was a kid (fingers crossed behind my back)...



Then Kira and I went over to Tonya's to go trick-or-treating with her and her daughters, Kylie and Ashlyn, and a few other people.



While we were out and about, we ran into Jinsey, Anna, and Ashley...a few more of Kira's friends...



There is a house in the next subdivision over that is always decorated really cool for Halloween...I took this picture from across the street, so it doesn't do it justice. Kira was afraid to even go up to their door to trick-or-treat.



We had a great time and by the time we were done, Kira's bag was so heavy that I had to carry it for her. Hope you all had a great Halloween.
