On April 25 Kira had her spring orchestra concert. She plays first violin...in the picture she was seated behind the girl with the yellow hair. Her BFF, Jinsey, was next to her on the left. A very pregnant Mrs. Swan was conducting.
David was working that evening and Katelyn had another obligation, so Maya and I went by ourselves. Usually I try to record a few songs, but since I was chasing my very busy baby, I only got (most of) one. At the concert they played Bluegrass Country, Themes from the Moldeau, and Toccatina. I recorded Toccatina til Maya ran out of the back of the auditorium into the hallway and I had to go chase her. Kira says to listen very carefully in the beginning for the basses because they are very quiet before the cellos join in.
We are so proud of our little violinist!
