Easter 2013

Fun times decorating Easter eggs...

These cute baskets were made by my mom and my sister a few years ago...when Maya came along they made her one, too.  Aren't they cute???  Love them!

Gardner Village

When Mom comes to visit we like to go shopping at all of the little shops at Gardner Village.  One of the stores there has all kinds of toys that take me back to when I was little.  Mom bought Maya this little top and she loved it.  Reminds me of one I played with when I was a kid. :)

Silver Lake Picnic

Wow...am I behind on this blog!!!  Here are more pictures from when my mom was here visiting in June.  We took mom up to Silver Lake for a picnic (and, of course, David squeezed in a little fishing)...

Maya was fascinated by the ducks.  Ground squirrels ran around trying to get at our food, which was fun to watch, and keeping Maya out of the water...well, yeah...you can imagine.

Thanksgiving Point

While my mom was here in June we did lots of fun touristy things that I normally never have time to do.  One of the things we did was go to Thanksgiving Point to the dinosaur exhibits to learn about prehistoric life.

Maya loved playing in the little cave.

This little dinosaur you could take apart and put back together...Maya tried to climb it.

This was probably her favorite part...you could "dig up" little plastic dinosaurs in the sand and water.  That entertained her for quite awhile...good things since Grandma moves through museums much slower than the rest of us cuz she likes to read EVERYTHING!

Here is Kira with Maya and Grandma.  Katelyn was there, too...not sure where she was when we took this picture...gift shop, maybe?

My little soda freak.

Grandma Rowe's Visit

In June, before Katelyn and Kira left for Aaron's place (now in Texas), my mom came for a visit for a couple of weeks.  We always love to have her here...she is one of those awesome grandma's that knows how to have fun with her grandkids and we love her!

Maya helped Grandma unpack...

When I was loading the pictures for this post, Maya was pointing at you and saying "Grandma!".  Miss you, Mom!

Christmas Day

On Christmas Day we did a little more opening of Christmas presents...

How do you like Maya's feaux-hawk?  Can't believe that her hair is just now (February 2012) starting to come in!

Merry (belated) Christmas!
